What is an affiliate program?
A. IHS has 2 different types of affiliate programs. One of which, allows affiliates to place links on your website to link to our website. Your visitors will have the opportunity to click on the provided link and make a reservation via our linking website. The second type of affiliate keeps the customer on your site to make a reservation while using IHS's booking engine to confirm reservations via xml.

Where do I begin?
A. You need to read the Affiliate Agreement first. After you have read the agreement, you must complete the online application form. After your application is submitted, you will receive a username and password to access the member site. Technical support will contact you to get you started if you are linking via xml.

Why join?
A. Affiliates have access to our extensive hotel properties and add valuable content to your site(s), all while earning greater commissions. You do not have to worry about invoices, refunds, emails, or collections, IHS does all this and you collect the money.

What does it cost to join?
A. Nothing! There is NO fee to apply and there is no minimum sales requirement.

Are websites outside the United States welcome to join?
A. Yes. IHS welcomes all websites from anywhere in the world. All commission payments are in U.S. currency.

What is the frequency of payment?
A. You will be paid each Friday. Your payment will be in the form of direct deposit.

I own / operate more than one website. Will I be able to receive only one commission check?
A. Yes, you will receive one commission check.

Am I able to monitor my sales?
A. Yes. IHS provides a web-based reporting package that allows you to view your reservations at any time. You can view historical data as well.

How are my reservations tracked to me?
A. IHS uses a contractor id to track reservations. Each affiliate is assigned an affiliate id number for your individual site(s). These numbers are associated with one another, therefore any reservation made through your contractor id is associated to your affiliate id and you are given credit for that booking.

How much commission will I receive?
A. The amount of commissions you will receive is dependant upon how many reservations your site does. However, the earning potential is unlimited, there is no boundary on how much you can earn.

How are cancellations handled?
A. If a reservation is cancelled or a credit card charge is reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction.

Can I apply if I don't have a website?
A. Unfortunately, No. You must have a website in order to become an IHS affiliate.

What if my account information changes?
A. Once you become an affiliate, you will have access to make any necessary changes.
